Prof. Dr. Ahmed Hamid Al-Azzam, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Kufa, chaired the first meeting of the Committee of Deans of Iraqi Colleges of Veterinary Medicine for the academic year 2022-2023.

Prof. Dr. Ahmed Hamid Al-Azzam, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Kufa, chaired the first meeting of the Committee of Deans of Iraqi Colleges of Veterinary Medicine for the academic year 2022-2023, which was held in the the College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Mosul, on Wednesday 5/10/2022.
Dr. Al-Azzam confirmed that the meeting was held in conjunction with the college’s organization of the seventh (first international) scientific conference and that the participation of the deans was effective, distinguished and supportive of this distinguished conference.
Dr. Al-Azzam indicated that the meeting hosted the two deans of the faculties of veterinary medicine at the Universities of Sulaymaniyah and Dohuk to discuss ways of cooperation and exchange of experiences. The meeting also approved the formation of specialized committees to update and develop the curricula and according to the time limit set by the ministry. The meeting discussed the need to strengthen the relationship between colleges and veterinary educational hospitals affiliated with the Ministry Agriculture to ensure the quality of clinical education. The meeting also approved the curriculum for a master’s study in clinical pathology at the College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Fallujah, and the creation of a department of veterinary parasites at the College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Basra., which was held in the the College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Mosul, on Wednesday 5/10/2022.
