The Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit at the College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Kufa, in cooperation with the Community Police Division in the Najaf Governorate, held a workshop entitled (The scourge of drugs and their negative impact on the individual and society )

The Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit at the College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Kufa, in cooperation with the Community Police Division in the Najaf Governorate, held a workshop entitled (The scourge of drugs and their negative impact on the individual and society ). It is attended by all Lieutenant-Colonel Dhiaa Kadhem Majid, Commissioner Zainab Majhoul Jiyad, Commissioner Atheer Jaber Jassim and Commissioner Asmaa Habib Saleh.
The workshop covered several topics, including:
1- Introducing the concept of community police and their role in combating negative phenomena, especially drug addiction
2 – Definition of drugs, their types and their negative impact on the individual and society in terms of health, psychological and social, and the reasons for their spread
3- The stages that an addicted person goes through
4- The activation paragraph included asking an intellectual question using brainstorming
5- Screening of a film entitled “White Fantasy” that embodies this phenomenon and how dangerous it is
6- Mention the ways of taking drugs
7- Introducing digital drugs
