Assistant Professor Dr. Bassam Ali Abd Al Wahab Al-Shammari, a faculty member in the Department of Physiology, Biochemistry, and Pharmacology, participated as a discussing member for the doctoral thesis titled “Pharmacological Investigation of the Anti-inflammatory and Anti-arthritic Effects of the Green Synthesis of Zinc Oxide Nanoparticles by Syzygium aromaticum Buds in Rats” by the student Rana Mahmoud Ahmed, held at the University of Baghdad. The study aimed to biologically synthesize ZnO nanoparticles using clove oil extract as a reducing agent and evaluate its activity as an anti-inflammatory in vivo.
