On Sunday 10/30/2022, The Clinical department at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine / University of Kufa held a panel discussion entitled ((Clinical and Molecular Study of Paratuberculosis in Buffaloes in Al-Najaf Governorate)), in which the Lecturer, Dr. Nabil Ahmed Abdulwahid.
The aim of the seminar was to identify the incidence of paratuberculosis in buffaloes and the modern methods used in its diagnosis, as well as knowing the rate of distribution and infection in the different areas of the districts and the areas of Najaf, as well as knowing the relationship of infection with the age and sex of the animal. In conclusion, the discussion panel recommended the necessity of apply modern control and prevention methods to limit the spread of the disease because of its economic and health effects on humans.
The workshop raised a set of recommendations, namely, the possibility of using bio-manufactured silver nanoparticles in the treatment of mastitis, as it does not cause changes in animal health, as well as on milk production, in addition to the use of Nano silver in the treatment of other diseases of interest to veterinary medicine
