Lately, Mrs. Nour Al-Huda Dhakil Abdul-Hussain has recorded eight local isolates of Candida dubliniensis in the international database at the National Center for Biotechnology Information \ Maryland (NCBI), So The Candida dubliniensis is one of the yeasts that cause diseases in humans and animals. Also this study was a part of a master’s student’s project in the department of veterinary microbiology at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Hayder Mahmood Samaka. So this study was aimed to identify the particular genes and species of a group of locally isolated yeasts in Iraq because there are locally limited information and research about these species.
