A research team at the College of Veterinary Medicine / Microbiology Branch / University of Kufa publishes a scientific research in the international journal F1000Research, which is ranked globally within Scopus Q1 with an impact factor of 2.6 and scientific citation of 4.2.

A research team at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine/ University of Kufa, were consisting of Assistant Professor Dr Ali Hadi Abbas ,Lecturer Haider Abas AL saegh, and Assistant Professor Dr Furkan Sabbar ALaraji , who published a new articles journal of F1000Research, which is ranked globally within Scopus Q1 and impact factor: 2.6 and citation of 4.2.
This study included a comparison between strains of the virus that causes Infectious bursal disease (IBD), also known as Gumboro disease, common in poultry, especially highly contagious disease of young chickens and turkeys. This study also showed that the viral strains isolated from central Iraq are significantly different antigenically from the strains isolated from northern Iraq, please check this link for this study: https://f1000research.com/articles/10-293/v2
