A great achievement for the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Kufa, on fifth of July 2019, the first student of postgraduate has graduated from department of microbiology, under supervisor Assistant Professor Dr Abdulla O. Alhatami who is supervised student: Israa Razzaq Hassan and her thesis was titled Prevalence of Plasmid-Mediated Quinolone Resistance Genes and Extended Spectrum B-Lactamases Among MDR Salmonella enterica Isolated from Poultry. Also the scientific committee was consisted of chairman Professor Dr Ahlam K. Naeem, and members Professor Dr Latif Ibrahim Kadum, and Assistant Professor Dr Kefah Fadil Hasoon, as well as Assistant Professor Dr Alhatami a supervisor. Israa has granted a master degree in microbiology. The Viva was conducted at faculty of veterinary medicine, and also scientific vice of president of university of Kufa, dean of veterinary medicine, teaching staff and other guests have attended during the Viva. Proudly, that faculty of veterinary medicine has accepted many students postgraduate in different scientific research areas, including the microbiology, pathology,physiology and diploma in management and physiology of laborarory animals.
