The faculty of Veterinary Medicine-University of Kufa conducted a specialized symposium about last occurrence of some cases of Congo hemorrhagic fever in Iraq.
Many of interesting people from local community in addition to large number of faculty members were attended this scientific activity.
Two lectures regarding the crisis presented by Assistant Professor Dr Karar Alharis and Assistant Professor Dr Hayder Alramahi. These lectures involve the properties of causative agents, routes of transmission and some epidemiological aspects of the disease and role of Health,veterinary authorities as well as academics to minimize the distribution and then eradicate of the disease.
After the deep discussion, many suggestions and recommendations were declared to face this crisis, and these will provide to the local and federal governmental authorities to enable them to overcome of the nowday cases.
