Setting standards for Iraqi scientific journals, mechanisms for upgrading them, and striving for their entry into international fields.

On Sunday 6/11/2022 Prof. Dr. Ahmed Hamid Al-Azzam, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine/ University of Kufa and Chairman of the Deans’ Committee of Iraqi Veterinary Colleges, participated in the meeting that was held at the Ministry’s headquarters.
It included a number of deans’ committees, assistant presidents of universities and editors-in-chief of a number of Iraqi scientific journals, headed by Prof. Dr. Alaa Abdul-Hassan, Advisor to the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and the meeting discussed setting standards for Iraqi scientific journals, mechanisms for upgrading them, and striving for their entry into international fields.
