Faculty of Veterinary Medicine-University of Kufa was organized a campaign aimed to raise an awareness of local community about the risks regarding the consumption of invalide meat.
Group of our students visited one of the largest malls in AlNajaf city and they met with the citizens there and give some explaination about role of veterinarians in maintaining the public health;in addition to their roles in development of animal welfare.
The dean of the faculty Dr Ahmed Al-Azaam appointed that this campaign includes distribution of some borchurs involving the recommendations and instructions associated the risks resulting from use of invalide meat and how the veterinarians detect the suitability of these meat for human consumption.
Dr Al-Azaam mentioned that these borchurs involved the list of main zonootic diseases as well as the protection routes against them.
