The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine held a joyful celebratory event last Wednesday to commemorate the birth of the Master of all beings and the best of creation, our Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family), and our Imam Ja’far al-Sadiq (peace and blessings be upon him).
The event began with recitations from the Holy Quran, followed by a speech from the Dean of the Faculty Professor Dr. Karrar Muhammad Al-Harris, Subsequently, an awareness lecture with various segments and informative and celebratory elements was delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Durgham Ali Al-Madany and Lecturer Dr. Wasim Raqem Al-Waeli from the College of Mixed Education. The lecture was followed by a purposeful poem recited by student Mustafa Salam. The festival also included a quiz segment presented by the Administrative Assistant, Assistant Professor Dr. Falah Hassan Baiee, who posed questions to the attendees about the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family) and his grandson Imam Ja’far al-Sadiq (peace and blessings be upon him). Many gifts and prizes were awarded to the winners.
