Under the auspices of the Ministry of higher education and scientific research, a training workshop entitled( The mechanism of applying the Bologna track system accreditation ) was held for Iraqi universities, which targeted the new specialties of the Bologna track, which included ( management and economics, administrative techniques, veterinary medicine, agriculture, agricultural techniques ) hosted by the Central Technical University/ Administrative Technical College Baghdad on Sunday, September 1, 2024.the ministerial team and participants in the workshop were received by the administrative assistant to the president of the Central Technical University, Prof. Dr.( Farid Majid Abdul). The ministerial workshop was opened by Dr. Farid Majid Abdul, administrative assistant to the president of the Central Technical University, and in the presence of the ministerial team consisting of Dr. Haider Hassan al-Mashali, assistant director general of the Department of studies, planning and follow-up at the Ministry, Dr. sudad Essam Younis, director of the registration and student affairs department at the University of Technology, Dr. Ammar Salem Kazim-Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Baghdad, and Dr. Ahmed Abdul Anbar, director of the registration and student affairs department at Karkh University of science . The workshop aimed at a practical explanation of how to implement and apply the Bologna Process and the role of teaching in the evaluation of students. The workshop included studying the most important points and mechanisms that must be followed to apply the Bologna track, developing study plans that fit the Bologna track system, training teaching staff on concepts and methods related to the Bologna track system on the study materials, determining the academic units and academic requirements for each course, as well as updating the current curriculum to comply with the requirements of the Bologna track system in order to achieve its goals. The workshop showed that the implementation and application of the Bologna Process works to develop students ‘ skills and develop their abilities, qualify students in accordance with the specialties and requirements imposed by the labor market, stimulate active learning and increase opportunities for innovation and scientific research in all scientific departments to ensure the continuity of success in the application of the Bologna system.
