The Department of Pathology and Poultry diseases in Faculty of Veterinary Medicine held a seminar on the World’s Poultry Science Association, Iraq Branch, and it was delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Haider Tuma Kaab, during which the lecture explained on the importance of this association and its role in Iraq, as well as its relationship with the international activities of poultry societies in the countries of the world in preserving this particular sector, by improving genetics, choosing the economic qualities and resistance to diseases, in addition, the epidemic and diseases that cause large losses in this sector.
In addition to how to treat, vaccinate, and popular diseases or outbreaks for viruses diseases. Also he talked about important collaboration with international associations of world which can provide good scientific opportunities for researchers in a developed and interested country and supports this important economic sector in Iraq.
It is worth noting that this association started its activity in Iraq a year ago in cooperation with the Poultry Association in the United Kingdom and the dean Professor Dr Ahmed and Assistant Proff. Dr. Haider had a great role in registering this association in Iraq to protect and support this sector in Iraq.
